One day, when I'm a maths teacher, I would like to dress up as Bellatrix for Halloween (which I have never celebrated) so that the English teachers can warn about the Dark Arts!

or ... I'm not sure if it's the maths or the typing that's going to finally do me in.

So I'm doing my Bachelor of Science. Again. I did it, originally, when I was young and stupid, and ended up with a degree that a) I didn't really want, and b) I never actually used. I didn't really want the degree because it was in an area of science that doesn't really interest me: Biology. I did it because I was young and stupid, and followed my friend into her field, and because it was easy. What I really wanted to do - what I have always wanted to do - was maths. And physics. Because numbers are fun. Really. It's just that when you have to suddenly work your head around stuff you haven't done in *cough*20 years*cough*, it hurts a bit.

Okay, a lot.

But what's more frustrating is when you've finally beaten the work into submission, you've then got to turn around and fight with Word to get it formatted properly. Actually, it could have just been because I was working in pseudocode, which is fine when you're handwriting it, but it involves numbered lists. Repeating sections of numbered lists, and the lists DO NOT LIKE to repeat sections of numbers. Or, at least, mine didn't tonight. But I beat it! I ended up working with text boxes to separate out the sections so that I could have them all lined up, all numbered exactly the way I wanted, and now I'm happy. The assignment is finished, due in 5pm Thursday, and all I have to do is fill out the coversheet and hand it in. Yay!
