So I want to make this skirt ...
... in black for the main part of the skirt, and with a white panel with red and black embroidery. I would like to do some knotwork - maybe a dragon - or a trailing rose. Interestingly, some of the best work is by tattoo artists, which many people (eg, my parents) would consider very low-brow. There's some amazing artists out there.
